Come the day of Knighthood, the new Knight of the Jedi Order will embody one of three archetypes: The Guardian with their focus on lightsaber combat, the Consular with their focus on the force, or (rarely) the Sentinel who would seek to combine both with other skills. There was once a saying that to open a locked door, each would have a different approach: The Guardian would kick it down, the Consular would use the Force to find its weak spot and strike there, while the Sentinel would slice into the system and unlock it.
